For UVC Lights, there are two types: Ozone and Ozone-free. UV Lamps on 254nm are called ozone-free, and the effectiveness of it is the area which get the UV light shine. As the light shines straightly, there are some dark space which are without the sterilization. That’s to say, there is some limitation for the ozone-free UV lamps.
For UV light with ozone,there are both 254nm and 185nm UV lights. It can ionize the oxygen in the air and then create ozone through chemical reactions. The ozone has a strong oxidizing effect which can effectively kill the bacteria. So, the UV Light with ozone, has the dual sterilized functions together with the UV light shining and the air flowing. You can choose your lamps with ozone and ozone-free considering with your usage.
